For access to busses, trains and ferries, the recently completed Britomart Centre is the place to go.
You'll find it located just across the road from the main Ferry Building in the former post office building at the bottom of Queen Street.
The Britomart Centre serves the local train and bus networks and it's here that you'll find all the information and timetables you'll need for getting around the Auckland, New Zealand transportation network.
The Tranz Metro train has three services from the Britomart Centre, these run radially to Waitakere and two further routes out to Pukekohe.
While the trains appear to be proving useful for commuters in these areas they're not so good if you want to reach the
tourist destinations.
