Beautiful Auckland, offers tourists stunning views, lush forests, great activities and first class New Zealand attractions.

You've got to find the time to visit the famous Sky Tower in downtown Auckland City.

The tallest building in the southern hemisphere at 328 metres, the views from here are stunning.

Take a walk to the top of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and if that doesn't shake you then you can always take the quick way down, Bungee !!

For a great day out with the family try one of the best Auckland tourism destinations, Auckland Zoo, the main zoo of Auckland, New Zealand, located to the west of Auckland city in the Western Spring Reserve, or experience the thrill of swimming with dolphins in the beautiful Bay of Islands, just north of Auckland.

You really must join the Coast to Coast Eco Tour owned and operated by Stuart and Donna Hamilton.

A relaxed way to experience first hand the great NZ lifestyle of the West Auckland countryside, the day tour starts with a pick up from the Auckland CBD and takes you to many of the local attractions including the Waitakere Rainforest, a craft market, BeesOnline honey centre, wine tasting, Muriwai Beach and gannet colony, and of course the Motutara Homestead and farm.

The Hamilton's family have owned the farm since 1922 so you can be sure their knowledge of the area is first class.

There's plent of activities for the kids too. Spend a day out at Rainbow's End theme park or Kelly Tarlton's underwater world, where you can walk through clear underwater tunnels and get up close to sharks and rays. They'll love it !

For a taste of Auckland's history take a visit to the historic village at Howick, spend some time at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, or jump on a ferry to Devonport for quaint colonial houses and shops.

Unwind, relax, and enjoy a fresh coffee and cream cake at one of the plentiful cafes on the High Street or check out Princes Wharf and the Americas cup village in the Viaduct for great shops, restaurants, markets and trendy boutiques.

Another top Auckland tourism destination is 'Lionzone', New Zealand's largest brewery. Experience the process of making beer and make sure you don't leave without sampling the finished product !

Auckland is also well known for its greenery, the gardens and parks are always in bloom.

One of the best known of Auckland's parks is Auckland Domain, with its magnificent views over the Hauraki Gulf it's a popular place for Aucklanders to walk, relax, picnic or socialise.
