Keep an eye on the calendar for the 11th annual Auckland Boat Show.

Held every year in early March, next year, 2009, will be the 11th Auckland Boat Show and will take place from the 4th March to the 8th March 2009 in the magnificent Viaduct Harbour in the Auckland CBD. This is the place to be to keep up to date with all the latest marine developments. Developed as the base for the 2000 and 2003 America's Cups in Auckland and surrounded by great restaurants, bars, bistros and world class hotels, the Viaduct is the ideal venue for the show being close to the city centre and the magnificent Hauraki Gulf with it's many beautiful islands.
There will be hundreds of exhibits of boats, yachts, high-class vessels, the latest marine engines, electronics and accessories on display on the specially constructed floating marina which is connected with Te Wero Island and Viaduct Harbour Marine Village.
Organized by the International Federation of Boat Show Organisers (IFBSO), the Auckland Boat Show is a true showcase for New Zealand's famous marine industry which is considered by many to be the best in the world.
A major event in the Auckland calendar, the boat show is truly a great day out for everyone and definitely not to be missed.
